This half term the children will be learning about plants and learning about the life cycle of a plant. They will be growing plants, vegetables and cress and looking at what plants need to help them grown. The children will be thinking about how to keep themselves safe and healthy and will be looking at the effects healthy sleep, healthy eating, toothbrushing, regular physical activity and screen time have on their bodies.
We will be learning numbers to 10, learning to count accurately, composition of 10, finding one more and one less and learning number bonds to 10.
Kingfishers have P.E on Tuesday and Thursday. The focus this half term in PE is net and wall. Within this the children will be learning a variety of ball skills. Learning to throw and catch, pass the ball using a chest pass and dribbling a ball with their feet.
When the weather permits, P.E. will be outside. Please make sure that your child has trainers in their P.E. kits and their P.E. kits are fully named.
