Welcome to Bumblebees and Honeybees - Nursery classes.
Our overarching theme for this term is 'Amazing Animals'.
Our focus stories for this half term are 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and 'The Rainbow Fish'.
Throughout this half term the children will be given the opportunity to watch the life cycle of a butterfly, starting with tiny caterpillars and watching them grow bigger, develop into cocoons then hatch into butterflies! In addition to this, the children who will be starting school in September will begin to follow the Read,Write, Inc Nursery as an introduction to phonics before starting school in September.
Everyday the Bumblebees children participate in a 'Healthy Movers' sessions. These are led by Mr Lean and involve the children practising movement in a variety of fun and exciting ways. This is always a highlight of the children's day and is a great way of developing independence when taking off and putting back on our shoes and socks.
We use Tapestry to share your child's learning with you and to share class messages so please ensure that you log in regularly.
